Oil & filter changes in Ipswich
Oil and filter changes to your manufacturer’s specification.

Oil that suits your engine
Engine oil lubricates, cools and cleans as it circulates, and it wears out over time. Manufacturers set the grade and the interval, and we work to both.

Match the oil to your car
Your manufacturer specifies an oil grade and approval for the engine. Give us your registration so the right oil is chosen.
Replace oil and filter
The old oil is drained, a new oil filter is fitted and fresh oil is added to the correct level.
Stay on schedule
Oil changes follow your manufacturer’s interval. Your handbook or service schedule has the figure for your car.
5WCold flow30Hot thickness
What the numbers on the bottle mean
- 5WFirst number
- With the W, it describes how the oil flows when the engine is cold.
- 30Second number
- It describes how thick the oil is once the engine is up to temperature.
- SpecApproval
- Your manufacturer may also specify an approval. It’s in your handbook, and we match it to your car.
5W-30 is an example only. Your car may need a different grade.

Oil Change FAQs
Answers to common questions about oil intervals, oil filters and the difference between an oil change and a service.
How often should my engine oil be changed?
Oil change intervals depend on the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations, engine type, oil specification and driving conditions. Your handbook or service schedule provides the correct interval for your car.
Why should the oil filter be changed with the engine oil?
The oil filter captures contaminants circulating through the engine’s lubrication system. Replacing it during an oil change helps prevent retained debris from contaminating the fresh oil.
Is an oil change the same as a full car service?
No. An oil change normally involves replacing engine oil and the oil filter. A full service includes additional inspections and maintenance items depending on the vehicle and agreed service package.
What should I do if my red oil pressure warning light comes on?
Pull over safely and switch off the engine as soon as possible. A red oil pressure warning can indicate insufficient lubrication, and continuing to run the engine could cause serious damage. Arrange professional assistance before driving again.
